This page provides step-by-step instructions on how to enter and edit Subpart CC Soda Ash Manufacturing emissions information for manufacturing line that are NOT monitored by a Continuous Emissions Monitoring System (CEMS).

Step 1: Select a unit

To select a unit for which to enter emissions data, find the unit in the UNIT SUMMARY table and click OPEN

Step 2: Equation Summary and Result

Please click on the link located below the red emissions data entry box titled "Use Inputs Verifier to calculate, GO" to calculate CO2 process emissions for a manufacturing line using CC-1 equation.

It depends on the user chooses the calculation method to estimate CO2 process emissions.

If the user chooses Trona input method, they have to use Equation CC-1.

If the user chooses Soda ash output method, they have to use Equation CC-2.

If the user chooses Site-specific emission factor method, they nave to use Equation CC-5.

Step 3: Repeat Steps 1-2

Repeat Steps 1-2 until emissions data have been entered for all manufacturing lines NOT monitored by a CEMS
